Jeremiah 35-36 "Messages During the Reign of King Jehoiakim"

This week we'll see two chapters dedicated to messages that Jeremiah delivered during the reign of King Jehoiakim. First in chapter 35 we'll see the Lord using a peculiar group of people named the Rechabites and as the chapter unfolds we'll see that they made choices to honor the words of their father, the Lord will then use that as an opportunity to minister to the people. In chapter 36 we'll see Jehoiakim hearing the word of God and then attempting to destroy it as he cuts the word of God and burns it in the fire.
